0079: Ilkka "Ile" Luukkonen, drummer with The Typhoons, on tour. Having heard that Hasse had become a lead guitarist,
he asked Hasse to join The Typhoons, which lacked one.
(Ile was later to have an important role as Hasse's manager, when Hasse brought his
new all-professional Senegalese mbalax band "Hasse Walli & Asamaan" to Finland for the first time, in 1988.)

0091: Hasse with The Typhoons, at Lauttasaaren VPK ("Letku").
This is the first known photo of Hasse Walli on stage playing lead guitar.
(Bass player Matti Kinnunen plays his last gig of the 60's with The Typhoons here, as
he was soon to join the Army. He was replaced by Måsse Groundstroem, who,
in March 1967, formed Blues Section with Hasse Walli, Jim Pembroke and Eero
Koivistoinen.) Left to right: Pertti Söderström, Matti Kinnunen, Christer Möller, and Hasse
